Belfast Zoo Viewing Pavillion

Another fantastic commercial project, completed on our long term contract in Belfast Zoo New Public Viewing Area to New Lions Enclosure which we had installed last year . Demolition of existing viewing area carried out and new Steel structure fabricated and installed to bring a major lift to the viewing area . Our longest project to date in Belfast Zoo Works carried out in this phase included : -Demolition & Clearance of Existing Viewing Area -Groundwork’s to establish new Foundations for New Structure , including Concrete Bases and Pads -New Structural Steel Frame Fabricated in our Workshop and Assembled on Site -Steel Cladding to Structural Steel -40mm thick Glass Panels Installed to Fabricated Framework and Steel FLashings -Concrete Strips to Internal Viewing Area -Drainage / Guttering Works -330m2 of Tarmacing Throughout Paths Around Structure -Rolltop Mesh Fencing along Boundary of Viewing Area -Landscaping Works which included installation of TImber Domes / Platforms for Lions . A great effort from all involved to get this completed and it is now open to the public.
